Simplicity 9639 Retro Baby Layette 1970s Vintage Paper Sewing Pattern Size 6 Months

Simplicity 9639 vintage paper sewing pattern, dated 1971.

Babies' Layette:

The panties V. 1 & 2 with elastic casing at waistline and leg edges have front snap closing. V. 1, 2 & 3 top with back button closing has short "kimono" sleeves, high round neckline and contrasting collar and cuffs. V. 1 features ribbon bow, ruffle lace beading and ribbon. V. 3 has purchased applique. V. 4 top gathered to contrasting yoke has back button closing, bias bound short puff sleeves, lace edging and button trim. The pants V. 3 & 4 with elastic waistline casing and elastic at ankles have side snap closing. The jumpsuit V.5 with low round neckline has elastic at back waistline and ankles, snap fastened crotch and shoulder extensions and optional purchased applique.
